My name is Sarah, and I’m fundraising for my mother, Elizabeth Moody, who is currently facing one of the hardest battles of her life.

Within the last six months, Elizabeth was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, a painful autoimmune disease that has made it incredibly difficult for her to continue working. This condition has not only taken a toll on her health but has also caused her to fall behind on her rent and bills.

Elizabeth is a kind, giving, and hardworking woman who has always been there for others, but now she needs help. She is behind on rent for August and September and has just two weeks to raise $1,800 to secure her housing. Without this, she risks losing her home.

Our fundraising goal is $3,000. The first $1,800 will go directly toward paying the overdue rent. The remaining $1,200 will help her cover urgent needs such as:

• Transportation repairs so she can get to doctor’s appointments and daily errands

• Groceries and household bills during this time when working is limited

• Basic living essentials while she focuses on managing her health
