Hi my name is Elizabeth Juarez Diaz, I'm currently a graduate student fundraising for my mom's funeral. She suffered a heart attack on September 15th while driving. My mom had end-stage kidney disease and required dialysis 3x a week. Her potassium levels were high and that is why the doctors think she suffered a heart attack.

It took 25 minutes for my mom to get a pulse back during resuscitation, and as a result of this she has extensive brain damage to the point of being called brain death. My family is gathering to take her off life-support and give her a proper burial.

Her body will need to be embalmed and repatriated to Mexico, where all the services will be held. After taking to several funeral homes the price of this will be around $10,000. And the price of me and my two younger brothers to accompany her and services will be around $5,000.
