Elizabeth and I have been friends since 7th grade, and I’ve seen firsthand how strong and caring she is. She’s a widow living on a very limited income because she’s disabled and unable to work. Her two dogs, Zeus and Stache, are her constant companions and bring her so much comfort. Last night, Elizabeth and her dogs were displaced from the hotel where they were staying due to a fire. She tried to reach out to the Red Cross for help, but so far no one has returned her calls, and the local homeless shelters are full. Right now, she doesn’t have enough money for gas or food, and she’s facing an incredibly tough situation. I wanted to set up this GoFundMe to help her and her pets get through this crisis. The funds raised will go directly toward finding Elizabeth and her dogs a safe place to stay, covering food and gas, and possibly helping her address some medical issues.
