Hi, my name is Cristie, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart on behalf of my incredible mother, Elizabeth.

In February 2025, our lives changed forever when my mom was diagnosed with extensive-stage small cell lung cancer, an aggressive and fast-moving cancer. Doctors gave us the devastating news that she may have just 14 to 16 months left with us.

But this isn’t the first battle our family has faced.

Twelve years ago, my mom suffered a stroke that left her with limited speech and weakness on the right side of her body. Since then, I’ve been her full-time caregiver, helping her with everything — day in and day out — while also raising six beautiful children with my husband, Daniel.

Because I’ve had to be home to care for my mom and our kids, Daniel has been our sole provider for years. But in June 2025, due to the constant demands of hospital visits, caregiving needs, and time away from work, Daniel lost his job. It was a devastating blow at the worst possible time.

Now, as we continue to care for my mother during this heartbreaking stage of her life, we’re facing financial hardship. We’re doing everything we can, but the pressure of medical expenses, bills, and basic needs for a family of nine has become more than we can bear alone.

We are humbly asking for help to raise money to cover:

•Medical expenses

•Prescription medications and transportation to appointments

•Mortgage, utilities, and groceries for our family

•Basic needs for our six children during this difficult time

My mom has always been a fighter — strong, selfless, and loving — and we want to make sure she’s surrounded by comfort, dignity, and care in the time she has left.
