Help Elizabeth fight Idiopathic thrombocytopenic
Hello everyone,
My name is Dafnne Wejebe, I am Elizabeth Wejebe's sister. My sister has been put in an induced coma after being formally diagnosed with Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura. She lost an incredible amount of platelets, being at just 7,000 platelets when our normal levels should be between 150,000 to 450,000, she stopped responding. This is why my sister's doctors determined she needed to be put in an induced coma to be able to give her the treatment she needs called plasmapheresis, which is extremely expensive.
My sister is only 35 years old, she is still full of life and was so scared to die, we all were and this treatment was the only thing that could save her life. Even though we don't have the money to pay it, her life is the most important thing and the rest can be figured out, this is why I started this page. We want to focus on saving her life and ultimately beating this disease that puts her at high risk.
Me and my family hope to reduce the financial burden of medical bills and while we are still uncertain of what the total costs will be, they are already adding up quickly.
Please share this page with friends, family, and on social media. Send prayers and good thoughts for my sister and my family.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for any action of support you can provide. Even just one dollar helps.
Thank you again and God Bless.
