Five years ago Elizabeth discovered she has a rare form of sarcoma in her lungs. Surgery removed part of her lung at the time however they could not remove all of the cancer. Seeing as this cancer is so rare, chemo was not an option for her and she was enrolled in a clinical trial to maintain her condition. That treatment then backfired on her and she was forced to stop it altogether and from then on, just monitor the cancer. Although not the main concern for her at this time, this cancer has grown and she will also be going back on an alternative treatment for this.

Anyone that knows Elizabeth, knows what a vibrant, beautiful and strong young woman she is, recently she received the devastating news that she now has multiple brain tumours and will face weeks of radiation treatment ahead.

On top of the overwhelming physical and emotional challenges, Elizabeth also experienced a seizure, which means she is unable to drive for at least six months. This has added an extra layer of difficulty, as she depends on her boyfriend Jordan to get her to countless medical appointments and treatments.

To be by her side, Jordan will need to take significant time away from work to drive her and support her during treatments and recovery. Together, they are facing not only health challenges, but also the financial strain of lost income and day-to-day expenses.

On top of this, Elizabeth has just recently started a new job and therefore does not have the luxury of sick days or benefits at this time.
