After a lot of research and tough decisions, Liz and her family have changed treatment plans over to Lyme Mexico in Puerto Vallarta for her treatment. This center specializes in Lyme disease and complex chronic illnesses, offering advanced, science-backed care at a fraction of the cost of Envita in Arizona.

Firstly, a few great things about Liz – I have known her for about 17 years now, and she is my sister-in-law. She has faced so many challenges over the years, but there are some amazing things to highlight. Liz has a special talent for throwing epic birthday parties and celebrations for everyone in her life. One of the first big birthdays she hosted was so well done it could have belonged in a movie. For Nora’s first birthday, she went all out! Everything was purple and teal, with custom color-coordinated snack stations, cutlery, plates, balloons, and the best cake. She put so much energy into making the day special for her family, creating an experience that everyone loved.

We celebrated her 30th birthday in Banff, exploring, biking, kayaking, and hiking as a family. One of the highlights was a short but amazing hike up Tunnel Mountain. We got completely soaked on the way down, but Liz loved every second of it, rain or shine. I would love for her to get the chance to do a trip like that again and continue to enjoy all the best parts of life.

Elizabeth (Liz) has endured a long and painful battle with her health, after years of exhausting every treatment option available in Canada. But now, there is hope on the horizon at Envita Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona—a facility renowned for its integrative approach to complex medical conditions. Arizona’s broad scope of practice allows Envita to offer cutting-edge treatments not available elsewhere.

She is seeking potentially life-saving care that offers her hope after years of suffering. Liz is an amazing wife and a loving mother of two, she spent the past seven years grappling with significant health challenges. However now with this alternative option it looks like there is a real chance at improved health and being back to normal.

History and Current Reality

In 2017, just four years into her marriage and with two young children, Liz’s health began to decline. What started with tingling in her hands and feet soon escalated to brain fog, extreme fatigue, and severe abdominal pain. Then diagnosed with a thyroid disorder and adenomyosis, Liz underwent a hysterectomy, but her suffering persisted. She soon developed widespread muscle and skeletal pain, limb weakness, and stabbing organ pain that led to frequent ER visits. Multiple surgeries, including gallbladder removal, left her bedridden, barely able to walk, with constant nerve pain and nausea. Its hard to summarize such a lengthy health battle to only a few sentences and I am sure you can begin to image what it would be like.

A naturopath in Calgary eventually diagnosed her with Lyme disease. She was able to start treatments, but they ended up both ineffective and expensive without a positive contribution to recovery. Liz’s condition worsened, and she now weighs just 91 pounds—30% below a healthy weight—while battling infections, inflammation, and intense chest pain. Despite numerous tests and consultations, Canadian doctors have been unable to provide solutions.

The Hope

Through a family member seeking treatment at Envita, Liz has been made aware of other Lyme Disease patients who made remarkable progress in their battles. Hearing about their visible improvements has given Liz and her family hope. Envita’s advanced treatments, including comprehensive testing, IRAD therapy, perfected immunotherapy, next-level blood treatments, and hyper personalized care, offer her the best chance at healing.

However we are looking to fundraise because initial testing and care design could range from $8,000 to $12,000 CAD, and the full three-month treatment course costing close to $110,000 CAD.

Liz has been married for 11 years and is the mother of two young children, Liam (10) and Nora (8). This treatment offers her the best chance at a healthy future. We are asking for donations, big or small, to help her access this essential care.
