Hello my name is Maria and I am writing this in an attempt to reach out to anyone's heart. The man in need of help is my brother Eliseo Desiderio, he is 50 years old, a father of three, and has just been diagnosed with stomach cancer (stage 4). His cancer is what the doctors are calling "expansive" which means it is quickly spreading to other parts of his already weak body (including his liver). My brother lives in Mexico and is not financially capable of seeking treatment because he doesn't have health insurance so we are asking the public for some help. My sister and I struggled to make enough money for his last couple doctor's visits where they took xrays and examined the gravity of his illness but we won't be able to scrape together enough for the 11 chemotherapy session he will have to undergo, not including his actual surgery, and any other medical expenses that will arise. If we are not able to raise enough money my brother will unfortunately have to succumb to this cancer and pass which is something i'm still not ready to come to terms with. I hope whoever is reading this can understand the desperate need he has right now and the pain his family and I feel as well. Thank you for reading this and thank you for any support given also.
