Hey! You probably know me if I’m sending this, but hi! My name is Elise Parks and I’m currently a sophomore musical theatre major at Wright State University! However, I’m from Kent Island, MD, a small little island in the Chesapeake Bay. Over there, it can be hard to find artistic educational opportunities for children. I’m extremely passionate about changing that narrative, and making sure all children, no matter what, have access to the arts. From ages 12 to 17 I participated in the Kent Island Theatre Summer Camp, which gives opportunities for kids to put on wonderful shows over the summer! Since graduating, I’ve spent the last two years directing Frozen Kids and Nemo Kids with 70+ campers between the ages of 5 and 11! Crazy, but so unbelievably rewarding!

This year, we are doing Suessical Kids, and I need your help! This show is very dear to me and I want to give my kiddos the experience they deserve. Money is often very tight for these summer productions, I spend hours and hours crafting and creating things for these kids. To have some extra money to put towards materials, small costume pieces, and props would be such a blessing!
