Hi everyone! My name is Elise, I’m 15 years old and I’m a volleyball player I love volleyball so much—it’s where I feel most confident, comfortable, and I can show my skills & abilities.

I’m in 9th grade and this is my 4th year playing volleyball, and I love it more every year. I have a 4.0 GPA in high school and plan to play volleyball in college. This year as a freshman, I was voted Captain of my JV team and was also a starter on our Varsity team. Hearing my name announced and waving to the crowd at the beginning of each game was such an amazing feeling! I loved rising to the challenges, and my confidence has grown with each year played. I try to share that confidence with my teammates by encouraging them with high fives, cheering, and focusing on the good moments.

In addition to playing for club & my school team each year, I have played for a local rec team, and have gone to clinics and camps at George Fox University, University of Portland and Oregon State. Volleyball is a year-round sport for me. If I’m not playing, then I’m watching it to see what it takes to be a collegiate player!

I have the opportunity to travel with my club team & play in a tournament in Northern California! I am SO excited to start this new chapter of travel in my volleyball journey!
