My friend Niel and I first met while competing in Scrabble tournaments across North America. Since then, we’ve sparred and analyzed games together, helping each other level up (gaining a combined 1100 rating points in the process!).

Now we are thrilled to have earned the opportunity to compete together on the global stage this November: Both of us were granted spots on the US team for the 2025 World Scrabble Championship in Accra, Ghana! We are asking for your support to help make this dream a reality.

This tournament will bring together players from 5 continents and over 15 countries. Attending would provide us with an amazing opportunity to grow as players and improve our game. In addition, we believe it's important to support our friends and organizers in the African Scrabble community by making a strong showing.

Any contributions, however small, would be appreciated. Donations will help to cover our entry fees ($300 each), travel expenses ($1200 each), and lodging ($700 each). As a thank-you, anyone who donates is entitled to a free Scrabble lesson or game analysis by an expert player!
