Hello, I am creating this to help My Best Friend Elisa during an extremely difficult time. August 1st her Sweet Dad went to heaven. Lester was a man of many things. He was a Husband. His Beautiful wife left this earth a few years ago and his love for her stayed strong through it all. He was a Dad and Pop Pop. He loved his 4 Kids and Grandkids more than life. He was a comedian. You never knew what would come out of this man’s mouth but you could guarantee you would either walk away laughing or fuming and he didn’t care which way it went. He was a talker. You couldn’t sneak by without a 30 minute conversation about a variety of subjects some of which you would just have to nod about because they didn’t always make sense and he just wanted to see your reaction. He was a Chef. In his younger days he would cook all the time and as he aged he didn’t lose the need for that. He loved to feed people. A few months back while at his home his vision was mostly gone and his memory slipping but that didn’t stop him from cooking up a storm as he said “These kids need to eat” some of the things he would mix together were questionable and there were a few close calls with fires but he made sure that everyone knew there was food in the kitchen. This Beautiful Amazing Man was most definitely an angel among us and he is going to be so missed. His Daughter Elisa who was his main caregiver for many years is going through a very hard time. She is a Mom of 3 who is doing her best to hold things together while heartbroken and having 3 heartbroken babies. Any amount will be greatly appreciated. Even if it’s just $1.
