My son is a hardworking 7th grader and musician who will be in 8th grade next school year. He has the chance to attend an incredible educational trip this coming March. The trip includes visits to Washington, D.C., Arlington National Cemetery, Smithsonian Museums, Mt. Vernon, University of Virginia, the Statue of Liberty, New York City, the 911 Memorial, a Broadway play, Philadelphia, Salem, Boston, and Harvard Yard. He’s extremely excited for this opportunity, and I would love for him to experience it, especially since I never had the chance to do something like this growing up.

We need to raise 1,600 by September 30 of this year and complete the other part by January to cover the cost of his trip, which includes travel, food, hotel, and all the amazing activities and tours. We’re also working on small fundraisers together, but we need some extra support to make this dream possible. My son is an honors student who loves music—he plays saxophone and piano—and he is truly hardworking. I know this trip will be a life-changing experience for him.
