My name is Elijah Evans, and I’m a junior at Bethany College majoring in Psychology with a minor in Entrepreneurship. I’ve been selected to study abroad in Sorrento, Italy during Summer 2025 through the SAI program at the Sant’Anna Institute—a life-changing opportunity that means everything to me.

As part of this program, I’ll be interning at a refugee home, working with displaced children—teaching ABCs, colors, songs, and games, while simply being a positive, steady presence in their lives. I’ll also be using this experience to shape my senior research project on cross-cultural psychology with my amazing advisor, Dr. Sheryl Beers-Kaspers.

This opportunity will not only grow me academically, but spiritually, emotionally, and professionally. However, I need your support to help make it possible.
