Help Elijah in his sudden battle to leukemia
Donation protected
Hi guys. Elijah J. Sanchez-Raines is a 6 year old boy who just
found out he has leukemia. It was a sudden, accidental diagnoses. He went in with bone pain in his knee, with no explanation. They ended up doing blood work and sending him directly to Seattle Children’s. He has only been there for 48 hours and has already endured the unspeakable for any 6 year old. lumbar puncture, bone marrow biopsy, and a central line are all procedures they have done so far. They have also already started on chemotherapy.
His mom Sissy (Dawn) is there with him but is having to miss work for at least 5 weeks while he undergoes his chemo treatments. Elijah has 3 siblings at home as well. Ages 14, 3, and 7 months. Their family can use all the help they can get during this uneasy time. Elijah Is a free spirited boy who loves sports and family. They have a long road ahead and the future is unclear. I can’t imagine being in this position. Since Sissy (Dawn) has to miss work, they will need help with bills such as rent and utilities, along with care for the other siblings while she is at Elijahs side.
thank you to all that can help.
