Help Elijah attend the National MOS Championship in Orlando!

We are a small Title 1 school in SW Virginia with a student that exceled in Microsoft Word 2019! Elijah Aistrop, a sophomore from Northwood High School, placed 1st in the state of Virginia in the Microsoft Office Specialist Championships and he now has the opportunity to compete in the National Championships to be held in Orlando June 17th - 19th. We desperately need help fund-raising to get this exceptional student to the competition.

Elijah has been invited to participate in the 2024 Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) U.S. National Championship in Orlando. The MOS U.S. National Championship is an annual competition sponsored by Certiport that tests students’ skills on Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. As the national qualifiers for the Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship (MOSWC), the winners of the MOS U.S. National Championship are invited to represent the United States in the most popular technology skills competition for Microsoft Office and the only one endorsed by Microsoft.

To attend the U.S. National Championship, Elijah had to pass a Microsoft Office Specialist certification with a top score and time. Elijah scored a perfect score of 1000 and finished the test in a little over 21 minutes. This opportunity is representative of the success we are having with industry certifications in our school, district, and state.

I am seeking your assistance in providing funding for Elijah's travel to and from the competition, along with myself, as his teacher and chaperone. We estimate the total cost of travel, room, board and food to be around $2500.
