On February 22nd, Elijah Riebel and his 9 year old son, Axel, awoke to smoke and flames engulfing their home. After safely escaping, they unfortunately proceeded to lose their family home to the devastating fire. Not only did they lose their home, but also personal and sentimental belongings, including Axel's life savings.

Elijah and Axel are currently living in an RV on the property, with a long term plan to rebuild. Unfortunately,  Elijah did not have house insurance, so as such the goal of this fundraiser is to help Elijah and Axel get back on their feet, and start the process of rebuilding. This will also include replacing the utilities and infrastructure that were damaged in the fire.

During this time of uncertainty and division, it is our hope that we can come together and show this dedicated single father and his son how caring and supportive our community can be.
