Hi, my name is Jerry Kok and I am a client and friend of Elie Barber. 

Last night, on December 18, the building that Elie Barber is located in had a massive fire. Nobody is hurt, but Elie's business is completely destroyed.

Elie has been there since 2018 and is well known in the community. She has put her heart and soul into this business. She has a team of 9 people and as they are all contractors, their personal barbering tools are not covered by insurance. Not only did they lose their tools, but they do not have an income now.

Elie is also suffering from a huge financial setback as she has been told that everything has been destroyed and cannot be saved. The insurance adjuster said it would be 2 years to rebuild where she currently is. She now has to find a new location and start from the ground up. She is still in a state of disbelief.

If you have been to Elie Barber, you know how they treat you like family. She always goes out of her way to make kids feel special with treats and video games to play.

I am raising money for her to get her business restarted and to help her team out financially. I am hoping that the community can come together to show support for one of our own businesses, especially over Christmas.
