Our older sister, Elidia, is a person whose strength shines through despite her daily struggles with the keloids on her body. These raised scars, which formed due to her skin's unique healing process, have become a significant part of her life not allowing her to do various things and not live a comfortable life. The keloids cover her back, chest, and some have started to even form on her face. Despite the challenges they pose, ie: constant pain, nasty infections, loss of sleep due to the pain, etc., Elidia's determination and resilience inspire us, her younger sisters and many others around her. Her journey with these extremely painful keloids is a testament to her strength and unwavering spirit even in the face of adversity. Despite trying various medications and treatments, long term relief remains elusive. We kindly request any donations, big or small to support Elidia’s ongoing medical treatments and research efforts to find effective solutions for keloid management.
