Help Elias's family lay him to rest in Lebanon

Hi, my name is Elissar (Eli) Saleh. Thank you for taking the time to read our story.

My cousin, Elias Shkeir, unexpectedly passed away from a heart attack at age 29 on July 23, 2021 in a NW suburb of Chicago. We are all shocked and saddened by his loss. Elias immigrated to the United States from Lebanon in November 2016 with his adored brother and mother. He was a huge help to his family, the primary provider, and will be missed dearly. He is survived by his two brothers, mother and father, and many close cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

It was always Elias’s wish to be buried next to his grandparents in his home country of Lebanon. To fulfill his wish, plans have been made to transfer his body to Lebanon to rest with his family and grandparents.

Anyone wishing to donate in his name would help offset the cost of transferring him to his final resting place. We are humbled by any contribution.
