Elias and Felicia were in Costa Rica celebrating their honeymoon when Elias had a severe accident and suffered a serious head injury. Fortunately, Felicia was able to access help, and Elias was airlifted to the hospital in time to prevent serious long-term damage — but what was supposed to be a relaxing celebration of their love quickly turned into a terrifying and financially devastating medical emergency. Elias was in the hospital for five days and was unable to fly for several weeks. The cost of medical treatment and hotel stays in another country has been enormous, and Elias still needs a couple of weeks of recovery when they get home before he can head back to work. They aren’t asking for much; just any contribution folks might be able to make to help alleviate the mounting medical bills they are facing.
