Hello, my name is Elias Joesph Vasquez. In mid 2020 I was diagnosed with adult-onset type 1 diabetes. At 23, of course it was a setback, but I was sure I could manage. Come to mid 2025 and I can no longer afford the medicine or the procedures to help maintain my condition. My insulin intake and needs for new prescriptions seem to get worse by the day. I havent been able to afford a true doctor's visit in months. Sadly, due to heavy debts by the U.S "healthcare," system. Coupled with the necessities of surviving modern life, I found my checks not going far enough as I needed. My plan currently is to file chapter 7 bankruptcy and start the process on moving to Canada. My best friend, partner, and someone Ive always been able to count on has offered their assistance in this matter. With luck, and hopefully your generosity, I can be fully situated in Canada and registered for their supplemental health program by the end of the year.
