Help Elias Smile with a New Accessible Ride
Donation protected
My dear friend Susan and her 23 year old son, Elias have a great need for a handicap accessible vehicle. Elias has been ill since birth with Mowatt-Wilson Syndrome. His medical condition has other complications with immune deficiencies and chronic blood disorders.
Susan is a hands-on Mom, Transporter and Caregiver for Elias who requires countless Dr. visits and intense care through IV medicines, IV nutrition and full contact care for basic daily needs. Elias is unable to walk on his own, thus, Susan frequently moves Elias without other help. As Elias often gets very ill, the physical care of lifting him in and out of a regular vehicle has become very difficult.
Susan and Elias always impress me with their joy and strength despite battles of Epilepsy, chronic pancreatitis and extreme pain management. Please consider joining us in helping this family have a bit of an easier life to transport Elias for his medical care needs. Susan would also like to have more fun with Elias, attend church together and be able to get out of the house more and safely for her and Elias. Elias loves people and his favorite thing is to make others around him smile and laugh.
A handicap accessible vehicle would help this family have a better quality of life. With this gift of transportation, life can be about more than doctor visits. Please consider donating to help this young man and his dedicated Mom. Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness toward purchasing Elias and Susan a handicap accessible vehicle.
