Help Elias Angel Move Forward
Donation protected
Elias has overcome
obstacles—born a micro-preemie at 24 weeks 5 days, Level 4 NICU for 116 days, with CMV, microcephaly, spastic quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy and rhabdomyosarcoma.
He has completed his cancer treatment and so far his tumor has responded. Thank you, Lord!
Now the challenge is caring for a healthy (32+ lb. Non-toddling toddler) Elias weighs about 1/3 of Heather’s body weight and the challenge to move him from one place to another in his 50 lb. wheelchair is becoming difficult without assistance. Add to this—Elias’ spasticity makes him stronger than Heather when he stiffens.
Our next challenge is to find them a wheelchair accessible van. This would enable Heather to wheel him from the house into the van, which would secure him safely in place (like a car seat) without her having to lift him or the chair.
We don’t know when a van will be available, but we are wanting to help them secure money to buy it when it does. Used vans can start at $45K.
We don’t take lightly the way you have loved and cared for our little happy boy this far. Honestly, we don’t know where we would be without your overwhelming love, care and support. Thank you!
If you are unable to donate financially at this time we understand. But would you please share on your social media sites? This will help his need be known to those we don’t know who may be able to help him.
Most importantly, pray that Elias will continue moving forward, one miracle at a time.
On behalf of Matt, Heather and Elias,
Debi aka Nana
