On Sunday, May 24th 2026, Elias Anderson — beloved son of Michael and Jen Anderson of Sharon, Ontario — suffered a devastating head injury following a fall from an elevated area on the family farm. After losing consciousness, Elias was rushed to The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto, where he remains in critical care.

Elias is a six-year-old bright and adventurous young boy who loves farming and spending time playing with his brothers and cousins.

Since arriving at SickKids, Elias has been sedated and intubated and has undergone an External Ventricular Drain (EVD) procedure to relieve pressure caused by excess cerebrospinal fluid resulting from multiple skull fractures. This has been an incredibly difficult and emotional time for the entire Anderson family, including Elias’ brothers, Isaac and Ben.

Michael and Jen have remained constantly by Elias’ side since the accident. During this time, Michael has been unable to return to work, while the family faces financial pressures, including lost income, meal expenses, and the possibility of significant long-term rehabilitation costs in the months ahead.

The Anderson family is deeply rooted in the local farming community. Known for their hard work, generosity, and willingness to help others, they have always been there when their community needed support. Now, it is our turn to support them.

All funds raised will go directly toward helping the Anderson family through this crisis — easing the financial burden so they can remain together and focus entirely on Elias’ recovery and care.

Funds will help cover lost income, meals and travel to the hospital, and any rehabilitation or recovery expenses Elias may face in the months ahead.
