My journey to becoming a nurse has faced some unexpected challenges. A year ago, I had knee surgery that set back my plans to finish nursing school. I’ve worked hard to recover and stay on track, but this semester I learned that my school is no longer able to help me with financial aid. Now, with just two semesters left before graduation, I’m struggling to pay for school materials, transportation, and my basic living expenses.

I’ve come so far and I’m determined to reach my goal of becoming a nurse so I can help others in their times of need. With a little help, I know I can get back on my feet and finish what I started.
