Please help us give our beloved 6-year-old Eli a chance at a healthy and brighter future.

My name is Zhealene Balansag, and today, I am humbly reaching out to you on behalf of my family and my nephew, Eli Morte.

Eli is a bright, active, talented, loving, and smart 6-year-old boy who brings so much happiness and joy to everyone around him. He is a wonderful child with so much life ahead of him, and like any child his age, he dreams of growing up, playing, learning, and enjoying life with his family.

Unfortunately, Eli has been facing a health condition that has placed our family in a desperate and heartbreaking situation.

Eli has been diagnosed with Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) with right cusp prolapse, a condition involving a hole between the chambers of his heart. Recently, he has started experiencing chest pain, which has become a major concern for our family and doctor.

Eli is also currently taking maintenance medication for his heart condition to help manage his symptoms while we work toward getting him the surgery he needs.

According to his cardiologist, Eli needs to undergo heart surgery as soon as possible. We have been advised that delaying the operation could put additional strain on his heart as he grows, as the demands on his heart increase.

Eli also frequently suffers from coughs and colds that sometimes require antibiotics. He has been in and out of the hospital multiple times this year alone.

Despite everything he is going through, Eli continues to be a cheerful and loving child. Seeing him endure these challenges at such a young age breaks our hearts, but we remain hopeful that, with the help of kind people, we can give him the treatment he needs.

Eli's mother is a single mother and a minimum-wage earner in the Philippines. She does everything she can to provide for her son, but the cost of his medical treatment is far beyond what she and our family can afford.

His cardiologist has estimated that the heart operation may cost approximately ₱1,000,000 (one million Philippine pesos).

The surgery will need to be performed at the Philippine Heart Center, and we are doing everything possible to raise the funds needed for Eli's operation, hospital expenses, medications, and other medical needs.

For our family, this amount is overwhelming. We never imagined that we would have to ask for this kind of help, but Eli's health and future mean everything to us, and we cannot give up on him.

Today, we are humbly asking for your kindness and support.
