Eli has been interested in history and government for as long as anyone can remember. He has volunteered in the field office of his candidate for the US Senate. This past November Eli worked tirelessly the day of the election as a student judge. When his Advanced Placement Government teacher announced he would be taking students toWashington DC for a week to see the inner workings of government we knew Eli would want to participate.
Eli was born with a rare and severe Generalized Dystonia that affects all of his muscles. He has a bright mind and a body that does not cooperate. For anything he endeavors to do it really does take a village. Eli can't go alone and needs to take his classroom assistant and a parent so that he can go. We are hoping raise $4000 to send Eli’s "village'" along.
