Help Eli Fix His Darn Face

At a show in January of 2017 I was kicked in the mouth while standing next to a mosh pit. Two teeth were bent 90° (One forwards, one backwards) and one tooth broke off completely.

I was fortunate enough to have health care and went to see a prosthodontist the next day. Over the course of a few hours he forced both my teeth back into position, all while my mouth was clamped open, the anesthetic wasn’t working, and I was having a panic attack. They had stabbed novocaine into my gums so many times the last thing that healed weeks later was the maw of injection spots. After this nightmarish experience I couldn’t bring myself to go back to the dentist for years.

Cut to 2021, I don’t have insurance but the missing tooth and resin spots where the wire held my teeth in place still lingered; After 4 1/2 years of having issues with my self-worth I finally decided enough was enough. I had received a recommendation from a friend to a really good dentist who also was fine to work around my lack of insurance.

I’ve already paid out of pocket for two visits, including a root canal (with zero panic attacks!). The next visit for me is to get a bridge tooth, which is going to be the most expensive. I don’t have the stability in my life financially to pay for it on the spot and I would love and appreciate every cent donated to help me finally fix my face. It’s been a wild ride looking like absolute garbage everyday, and I think it’s time I felt good about myself.
