Dear Friends,
This is a one of the hardest post for me to write and I would never have dreamt I would be sharing this with you but unfortunately, I am.
Some of you may or may not be aware I have been unwell for the past 6 months and within the last 3 weeks my whole world has been turned upside down & I don’t really understand how I got here…. The road to diagnose has been confusing, life changing and frightening to say the least. I have been diagnosed with an aggressive form of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma type B. which has already reached stage 3. This has meant I have had to return home to Australia to receive immediate treatment.
I am currently undergoing chemotherapy every 14 days for 3 days. this is a heavier regime than we originally started with as the cancer has spread quickly and I have tumors throughout my stomach.
My amazing partner and soulmate Joanie has been by my side this whole time, but unfortunately, she has to leave me on December 18th so we will be apart for Christmas. Joanie needs to go home to sort out our financial situation back home in the America to keep us afloat during this battle.
As I share this story I have one ask of you my friends, are you able this Christmas to make a donation to help me be with the woman I love? This is a really hard thing for me to ask however I really don’t have any other alternatives but to ask the people closet to me for help which is you my friends. Your help will help us with the never-ending bills and the worry of losing our home, but the most important thing is it will give Joanie the opportunity to be able to come back to Australia & be by my side as I take on the fight of my life.
We have so much still we want to do together and there is so much life to celebrate. We have so many beautiful plans and those include being able to spend more time in Australia with my family and friends. Please help us to get through this time so we can be part of all of your lives too.
