Help Elexis Lara Fight Cancer

I'm writing this with the heaviest heart. In January 2021 my sister, my best friend and most trusted confidante, Elexis was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. After many many tests, scans and doctors appointments, she began Chemotherapy treatment in February. Just last week, her CT Scan came back and showed that her cancer had spread to her lungs. Although this did not change the current treatment plan, it changed her prognosis to Stage 4. Those words coming from the doctor were numbing, to say the least.

My sister is so strong. She is the mediator of our family. The positive one. The most wonderful mother to my 16 year old neice, Sophia.

As we pray for God to heal her through medicine and through prayer, we are found with lostness.

The doctor is still hopeful she will beat this and become a cancer survivor. We remain hopeful and faithful too.

With the heaviest of hearts and with the greatest of appreciation, we humbly ask for help. Help for the uncertainty ahead, for the extra expenses we have experienced and continue to forsee.
