Stability After Riki’s Passing
Our dear friend Elettra and her children are facing an unimaginable loss following the
passing of Riki, a devoted partner, loving father, and a deeply loved member of the
community.
Riki was someone who brought warmth, generosity and kindness wherever he went. He
had a natural way of connecting with people, and many of us were touched by his humour,
open heart and willingness to help others. His eyes alone could like light up a room.
Ricki was a deeply devoted father. His greatest joy was spending time with his children
and creating a home filled with love, laughter and adventure.
Now, as Elettra and the children begin to navigate life without him, friends, family and
community members are coming together to support them through this incredibly difficult
time.
This fundraiser has been created as a way for people - both near and far - to help provide
stability, care and breathing space for the family during the months and years
ahead.
Riki, Elettra & Their Family
Elettra and Riki had built a beautiful life together over the past 11 years, creating a home
centred around love, family and community.
Last September they were married, celebrating their commitment surrounded by family
and friends and looking forward to the future they were continuing to build together.
Shortly after, their family grew once again with the arrival of their third child, Milo, who is
now just six weeks old.
Today, Elettra is caring for their three young children, Luna 7, Zeno 4 and Milo just 6
weeks old - while navigating the devastating loss of the love of her life, whom she shared
the past decade of her life with.
Our hope is to surround Elettra and the children with as much love, care, stability and
support as possible as they begin to move through this painful and unexpected chapter.
Why We Are Raising Funds
The funds raised will help cover essential living costs for Elettra and the children over
the next 12–24 months, providing stability during this time of transition.
These expenses include:
• Rent
• School fees
• Childcare and household support
• Food and essential household bills
With this in mind, the fundraising goal has been set at €200,000, which will help provide
stability for Elettra and the children as they move forward.
Reaching this goal would allow Elettra and the children to maintain stability in their daily
lives while they navigate this new chapter, without the additional pressure of immediate
financial uncertainty.

One of the most beautiful things to witness during this time has been the way people have
come together around Elettra and the children.
Friends are helping organise meals, school support, playdates and practical help around
the home. Local businesses have also stepped forward with generosity, offering food,
produce and activities for the children.

La nostra cara amica Elettra e i suoi bambini stanno affrontando una perdita inimmaginabile dopo la scomparsa di Riki, compagno devoto, padre amorevole e membro profondamente amato della comunità.
Riki era una persona capace di portare calore, generosità e gentilezza ovunque andasse. Aveva un modo naturale di entrare in connessione con gli altri, e molti di noi sono stati toccati dal suo senso dell’umorismo, dal suo cuore aperto e dalla sua disponibilità ad aiutare. Bastava il suo sguardo per illuminare una stanza.
Riki era un padre profondamente devoto. La sua più grande gioia era trascorrere tempo con i suoi figli e creare una casa piena di amore, risate e avventura.

Riki, Elettra e la loro famiglia
Elettra e Riki avevano costruito insieme una vita bellissima negli ultimi 11 anni, creando una casa fondata sull’amore, la famiglia e la comunità.
Lo scorso settembre si sono sposati, celebrando il loro legame circondati da amici e familiari e guardando con gioia al futuro che stavano costruendo insieme.
Poco dopo, la loro famiglia si è nuovamente allargata con l’arrivo del loro terzo figlio, Milo, che oggi ha appena sei settimane.
Oggi Elettra si prende cura dei loro tre bambini piccoli — Luna (7 anni), Zeno (4 anni) e Milo (6 settimane) — mentre affronta la devastante perdita dell’amore della sua vita, con cui ha condiviso l’ultimo decennio.
Il nostro desiderio è quello di circondare Elettra e i bambini con quanto più amore, cura, stabilità e sostegno possibile mentre attraversano questo capitolo così doloroso e inaspettato.
