Help Eleni and her family recover from Hurricane Helene
Donation protected
During the late hours of September 26, 2024, Hurricane Helene wreaked devastation on our beautiful west coast of Florida, and many were left to make the difficult decision to either hunker down for the storm or evacuate to safety. Eleni and her family hunkered down to wait out the storm, but as water levels were swiftly rising, they had no choice but to seek refuge. By the grace of God, Eleni was able to evacuate her children and herself and make it to safety in time, but unfortunately, she lost her home and everything in it after an electrical fire started by a blown transformer.
Ever since we've known Eleni, she has always had a home renovation in the works, whether it be popcorn ceiling to tear down or bathroom tile to replace. She poured countless hours of hard work into building a home for her family, and to think of a woman who takes so much pride in her home losing everything in an instant is unfathomable.
We are asking our friends, family, and community to help raise money for Eleni and her family. She will need assistance getting back on their feet. If you are not able to donate money and would still like to help in some way, we are currently working on putting together other resources to assist with clothing, food, etc.
Sincerely,
Liz Ergos Reid and Leanne Henderson
