In October 2025, I took a screaming ride to the ER (not the rollercoaster I’d recommend) and found myself in full sepsis, with a gastric perforation and acute hypoxia respiratory failure. I spent a total of six weeks in the hospital, taking every medication known to man, but it took until the three-week mark for the doctors to realize I needed surgery. On day 21, I finally got my turn in the OR, where they placed a gastric tube that would become my not-so-fashionable accessory for the next four months. After 39 days, I was sent home with ten prescriptions and a calendar that looked more like a doctor’s convention schedule.
Fast forward to February 2026: I went back under the knife. The doctors removed the tube, took out a chunk of my stomach, and rearranged my insides so things would flow as they should (I’m basically a medical jigsaw puzzle now). While I’m grateful to be on the mend, the hospital bills are now sky-high. I’ve had to use credit cards to keep up, and the financial stress is real.
I learned a long time ago that if you don’t ask, you don’t get—so here I am, humbly asking for your support (and maybe a few good jokes). Every donation will go straight to paying off medical bills and the mountain of debt I’ve racked up. Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity—it truly means the world to me. I can’t wait to personally thank each and every one of you for your help (and maybe swap some hospital stories).
