Help Elena Get Urgent Medical Care

Hello, my name is Elena, and I am 24 years old from the UK. I am reaching out for your support to fund a private laparoscopy, as my life is at risk due to severe negligence by the NHS. I am one of 750,000 women suffering from inadequate gynaecological care in England, and my story highlights the crisis that could potentially cost me my life.
Since March 2024, I've been labeled 'urgent' for surgery for suspected Endometriosis, yet I have received no follow-up treatment or surgical appointment. My condition is critical; I am on the verge of losing my bowel or dying from a ruptured organ. Despite nearly a decade of debilitating symptoms, including extreme abdominal pain and fatigue, I have been misdiagnosed and dismissed repeatedly.
In September 2024, I collapsed at home in excruciating pain. After waiting 36 hours in A&E, I was told to go home with more morphine. I refused and demanded a scan and the scan finally showed that I was diagnosed with a completely blocked intestine—something that could have been fatal if left untreated. I was told upon my fourth admission to A&E that my critical laparoscopic referral from March 2024 had somehow been ‘lost’. The negligence I have experienced has been terrifying: being told my pain was exaggerated, enduring invasive procedures without proper care, and facing dismissive attitudes from healthcare professionals with my recent admission ending up in having myself safeguarded from the actual hospital staff due to their negligence and attitude to my condition.
I am now forced to seek private treatment to avoid further deterioration and potential organ loss or death. The emotional and physical toll has been overwhelming, leading to job loss and financial ruin. I fear for my life every day and feel traumatized by the lack of support from the NHS.
Please help me get the urgent medical attention I need to survive. Your support could make all the difference in my fight for health and justice. Sharing my story can also help raise awareness about the broken state of gynaecological care in the NHS, potentially saving not just my life but many others.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for your kindness and generosity
