Help Elena Fight Bone Cancer

We are Elena’s aunties, and we’ve started this fundraiser because our beautiful 9-year-old niece is going through something no child should ever face.

In June 2025, Elena went to the doctor with what seemed like leg pain. Within hours, she was rushed to the Children’s Hospital in Sydney. After a whirlwind of scans, tests, and waiting, the family received the devastating news: Elena has osteogenic sarcoma — a rare and aggressive form of bone cancer. Recently, Elena has also sustained a leg fracture and is currently undergoing a leg traction.

We’ve watched her grow into a bright, kind, and funny little girl who lights up every room. Seeing her now, in a hospital bed and unable to move, is heartbreaking. We can’t take away her pain, but we can do everything in our power to support her and ease the burden on her dad, George.

This fundraiser is our way of doing something, showing up for her, for George, and for her little brother during the most challenging time of their lives.

As there is a long road ahead—filled with treatments, surgeries, and recovery—we are determined to walk every step beside them. But we can’t do it alone.
