The disease manifested itself when Elena was 4 years old, she was diagnosed with infantile fibrosarcoma of the facial mass, which was successfully removed after 9 cycles of chemotherapy, 2 operative treatments and 30 radiations. For a full 6 years, everything was fine without major problems and consequences.

In February 2025, after a follow-up MR examination, changes were observed in the right frontal lobe. The biopsy determined that it was a malignant tumor of the frontal lobe of the brain (C71.1 Neoplasma malignum cerebri, lobi frontalis) grade IV glioblastoma.

The treatment was continued abroad, where therapy and radiation were started, after which a control examination revealed that the tumor had started to shrink, but that new lesions had appeared on the left side of the brain. It is necessary for Elena to continue treatment with biological immunotherapy as soon as possible with the possibility of introducing targeted therapy in accordance with the results of additional tests.

Since significant financial resources are needed, which the family is unable to provide, all people of good will are invited to help with their donations.
