I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a deep sense of urgency to support a remarkable woman and her family in a time of immense need. Elena DeSiervo Burns is well known as a talented opera singer, local actress/performer, a loving wife to Bobby Burns, dedicated mother to Zoë, Fletcher, Cameron, Sydney, Piper, and Oscar, daughter of Gus DeSiervo, and a dear friend to many. She has brought love and light into the lives of so many of us.

Elena underwent brain surgery on 10/8/24 to remove a malignant tumor. As she recovers from surgery, she awaits staging of the tumor to determine the aggressiveness, and this will direct further treatment.

As you can imagine, this is an overwhelming time for Elena and her family—emotionally, physically, and financially. Those who love her are simply gutted. While Elena has devoted her life to entertainment and to those she loves, now she faces the unimaginable challenge of fighting for her life while managing the mounting medical expenses and unforeseen costs.

Elena's biological mother lost her life to a brain tumor when Elena was ONLY 10 months old.

Elena was strongly and lovingly at Fletcher's side through his battle with a brain tumor when he was only 6.
