Hello,

My name is Eldon, and I am a 20-year-old young adult on the autism spectrum. I graduated from high school in May 2024 and am currently learning how to navigate adulthood and become more independent.

At a young age, I experienced the loss of both of my parents. Since then, my uncle has been my primary source of support and has helped raise me. Over the years, my uncle has faced serious health challenges and eventually lost his vision. As a result, I have stepped into a caregiving role and assist him with many daily activities while also learning how to manage responsibilities on my own.

Recently, I received a notice informing me that there are delinquent property taxes owed on our home. This has been overwhelming, as I am still learning about the financial responsibilities that come with homeownership and adulthood. The amount currently due is $6,630.31, and I am doing everything I can to find assistance and prevent additional penalties.

This home is more than just a house to me. It is the place where I grew up, where my family memories were made, and where I continue to care for my uncle. Losing this home would be devastating for both of us.

I am humbly asking for help from my community. Any donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward paying the delinquent property taxes and helping us maintain a safe and stable place to live.
