My name is Eldia, and I’m raising funds to cover the cost of my EMT course at Bay Area Training Academy. For as long as I can remember, my mom has worked in healthcare, and her dedication has inspired me to pursue a career where I can make a real difference. While bedside care isn’t the right fit for me, I know I belong in the fast-paced world of emergency response, helping people in critical moments.

The EMT program lasts 6-8 weeks and includes everything I need—books, uniforms, exam fees, and course materials. I’m working full-time, putting in 40 hours a week, and most of my income goes toward paying off my credit card debt and car payments. Covering the cost of this course is a challenge, but I’m determined to take this step so I can learn life-saving procedures and give back to my community as a helping hand.
