Help Elderly Lady Avoid Eviction After Fraud

Donation protected
I am reaching out on behalf of my dear friend, an elderly disabled woman who has faced more than her share of hardship this year. She relies on social security to get by, and after losing her home in the May tornado, she was able to move into a new apartment thanks to the help of Urban League and the Red Cross. Just as she was starting to rebuild, disaster struck again on New Year's Eve. Someone in Ohio stole her identity and took a significant amount of money from her bank account. The bank is working on her case, but in the meantime, they had to freeze her account, leaving her with no access to her money.

Now, her rent is due and she has no way to pay it. Her apartment complex is threatening eviction, and as an elderly woman with no family nearby, she has nowhere else to go. She has already lost so much, and the thought of losing her home again is overwhelming. She is doing everything she can, but the situation is urgent and she needs help to keep a roof over her head.

We are asking for support from anyone who can help. Your donation will go directly toward her rent, giving her the stability and security she desperately needs while her bank works to resolve the fraud. Please, if you are able, consider helping her stay in her home. Thank you so much for your kindness and support.
