Help elderly gentleman recover from home robbery

Hi all my name is Aaliyah and i am posting on behalf of John & his family, On Tuesday the 17th of January John heard a knock on his door and thought it was his meal on wheels being delivered, after opening his door to his horror a man forced entry into his home and demanded that John handed over his wallet. John is 86 years old and also suffers with dementia so is extremely vulnerable, The Robber took total advantage of this and left with all of Johns money and bank cards. As a result of this, John has now been left so terrified and frightened he doesn’t even want to leave his house.

John used to take daily walks to costa for his coffee and was completely independent physically, he has now been stripped of this due to the traumatisation of the event

We are hoping to but a smile back on Johns face by raising the funds that he has lost, this of course will not compensate for the mental trauma, but is a good place to start
