Betty Gray has lived and worked in South Berkeley for over 30 years. She is a fixture of the community, and she needs our support! 

At the beginning of the year, she had two serious falls down the stairs of her 2nd-floor apartment. She was seriously injured and has been confined to her apartment ever since. Ms. Betty has not been able to return to work and needs help paying for her expenses until she is well enough to return. Please donate and share!

What’s the money for? 

- First and last month’s rent for a new apartment that will be accessible and safe for her to live in. 
- Living expenses while she is confined to her apartment and can’t work 
- Rent for her store until she can go back to work
 

Housing Help! 

Ms. Betty is looking for an accessible one-bedroom apartment in South Berkeley so that she can stay in her community and be near her store. She has a Section 8 voucher, which can make it difficult to find a spot. Have any leads? Contact us through this Go Fund Me page.
