Help Eldad Get Back on the Mat!

Hi, my name is Eldad, and I’m reaching out because I need a bit of help to get back to the place that’s changed my life—the mat at Cutting Edge Karate in Woodland Hills. Training in Krav Maga has been transformative for me. I’ve become stronger, more responsible, and more resilient than I ever thought I could be. Over the past year, though, I’ve been dealing with intense shoulder pain that’s only gotten worse. My doctor recommended a stem cell injection to help repair the damage, but insurance doesn’t cover it.

Below, my instructor has shared a few words. This school is like family to me, and I’m beyond grateful for the support, encouragement, and community I have here. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any help you’re able to give.

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out on behalf of one of my most dedicated students at Cutting Edge Karate & Krav Maga in Woodland Hills. Eldad has been training with us for over four years, and he’s truly like family to us. A little over a year ago, he started experiencing serious pain in his shoulder. The doctors told him he’s low on cartilage, so surgery isn’t an option right now. They’ve recommended stem cell injections as the best path to recovery, but, unfortunately, his insurance doesn’t cover it.

Training in Krav Maga has been a life-changer for Eldad. He’s become the most physically fit and responsible he’s ever been. The school has taught him that he can overcome any challenge, and he’s always there to encourage and help others, especially the kids in our program. He genuinely loves seeing them grow, overcome obstacles, and build confidence. It’s tough for him to be off the mat, as this school is his happy place and his community.

Right now, his doctor has even suggested he take temporary disability, but he’s determined to get back to the training he loves. If you’re able to lend a hand, I know it would mean the world to him. We’re hoping to raise enough for the stem cell injections so he can heal, get back on the mat, and keep being an inspiring part of our school family.
