Hi! My name is Kayla Pennington. I am Elaine’s oldest grandchild. Elaine was more than just a grandma; she was a strong woman, a great mom, a shoulder to cry on (for anyone), a good laugh, a fantastic baker, a mean card gamer, and more than anything - loved.

We lost her at 71 years old after months spent in and out of hospitals, one fall/infection/illness after the other. She leaves behind 2 kiddos and my Papa Mike. If you know them, you know how sweet my Papa is. He was the worker; she was the mastermind. She handled all planning and financials… except when it came to herself. We are scrambling trying to figure out just where Nana has put everything, and in the meantime, I am hoping to relieve some pressure off of my Papa who is completely lost without her. Any money raised will go towards the funeral / (she wished to be cremated so anything that goes along with that) and directly to my Papa to continue to try to live without his bride of 49 years this August.
