Hi, my name is Elaine. I have done fund raising for others but I’ve never done any type of fund raising for myself. I’m going to try now - as embarrassing as it is. Due to the multiple tumors in my brain I am going to have to have two more scans and undergo Stereotactic Radiation Therapy.

The center is a long trip from my home and back; with gas prices they way they are it is going to be very expensive going back and forth for this treatment - 7 days.

There is no guarantee that it will work but I have to try because I vowed to kick cancer’s butt and I’m not changing my course of action. I’m hopeful that I will be able to continue to work during this time, even if it’s only for ½ day because of the travel time, but until I know how I react to the radiation I simply don’t know if I’ll be able to. I know funds are tight for everyone, but if you are able I would really appreciate your help in me reaching my goal so I can have this treatment.
