Hello everyone my name is Elaine Duonola, yesterday September 1, 2021 I came home after work and found my apartment completely flooded up to my knees . Everything was destroyed my mattress, my mothers and fathers orthopedic mattress were destroyed, my brother bed was also destroyed as well, we lost alot of our clothes and shoes , we lost our kitchen table and chairs, our kitchen floor was destroyed, the water was so dirty and smelly it smelled our apartment very bad , my dad lost his medication that must be taking daily, I had to call his doctor and tell him what happened. My bathroom was the worse Everything shampoos ,soaps were floating around the apartment, my new rug i bought for my mother was destroyed, Everything I saved I put it in plastic bags in the yard. I asked my landlady can my parents sleep the night and she said no!! The new tenants that moved in a few weeks ago took us all in for the night, may god bless them. Can you help me and my family to go back to normal, this has made my mom cry and sick .I had to give my dog to my friend temporarily until the apartment was extremely clean . I don't know where we will sleep today ,most likely a motel with my parents.
