Help Eladio Martinez’s Fight After Stroke

My name is Bianca Martinez. I am the daughter of Eladio “Macho” Martinez. Myself and my brothers, Gary and Mark, are starting this GoFundMe for my father, who has been in a coma since January 2, 2025. My father suffered a massive stroke while visiting family for the holidays with his wife in Puerto Rico. My brothers and I have been in Puerto Rico and will be staying with him for the time being.

The tremendous amount of love and support my father and family have been shown thus far is a true testament to the impact my father has had on so many people. My father is the most sincere, loving, and selfless person that I’ve ever known. He’s also the funniest. Anyone who has met my father knows that they instantly become his family. He is always there when anyone is in need, and right now he needs us.

We first and most importantly ask for prayer. Prayer that he will be healed from head to toe, inside and out. That every vessel and cell in his brain be fully restored and regenerated and that his body remain strong and healthy in order to keep fighting. We are fully aware of what his prognosis is on a human and medical level, but we also know that God is the ultimate doctor and can make possible what seems humanly impossible. Miracles happen every day, and this is a man who is fully deserving of a second chance and opportunity to live a longer life. We declare this all in Jesus name.

After prayer, if anyone feels called to donate, the funds will be used towards my father’s medical care, the transfer of his care to Texas if and when we are able, and to help support his wife, Nelly.
