Help Ekira Jackson Rebuild After Fire
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Ekira Jackson, and I’m a hardworking Certified Nursing Assistant, Uber driver, and hairstylist, as well as the proud mother of four amazing children. On Tuesday, June 4, 2025, around 4:45 PM, a fire broke out at the River Bank Apartments, where I had only recently moved in less than a month ago, in May. We were forced to evacuate immediately. The damage was so severe that the building was officially condemned declared unsafe for anyone to live in.
We are now completely displaced. We’ve lost our home, our furniture, our clothes and most importantly, our sense of safety. I’ve always worked hard to provide for my family and never thought I’d be in this position. But right now, I need help to get my family back on our feet.
What We’re Facing
Evacuated due to a fire at River Bank Apartments on 6/4/2025 at 4:45 PM
I had only lived there less than a month, moving in May 2025
The building was condemned we can’t return
Left with no belongings, furniture, or clothing
Staying in temporary places with no stability
My kids are shaken and emotionally affected
Why I’m Asking for $45,000
This will help us:
Secure safe housing
Replace essentials: clothing, beds, furniture, food
Cover transportation, school supplies, and lost wages
Get emotional support for my children
Rebuild the life we were working so hard to create
Please Help Us Rebuild
I’ve never asked for help like this before, but I’m reaching out because my children need me to be strong and right now, I can’t do this alone. If you can donate, share, or even offer a prayer, we would be so grateful.
Thank you for standing with us during this devastating time.
With love and faith,
