Eisley “May May” is a bright, outgoing, and spunky one-and-a-half-year-old who brings so much joy to everyone around her.

I’m Auntie B to this family and wanted to put this together for them while they focus on their journey ahead. Eisley is getting ready for a pretty major surgery on her leg/hip. She’s been diagnosed with femoral anteversion and will need a femur derotational osteotomy with closed reduction. In simple terms, the doctors need to carefully reposition her femur into her hip so it can heal correctly and give her the best chance at walking and growing without pain.

She’s such a happy, strong little girl, but this is a lot for someone so small to go through. The surgery itself is significant, with a cast from her chest down for a minimum of 3 months and recovery will mean hospital time, follow-up visits, and likely physical therapy while she heals. Her parents are doing everything they can to stay strong and focused on getting her through this, but as you can imagine, it’s overwhelming.

I offered to make this page because even with insurance, the costs around something like this stack up quickly — medical bills, time off work, travel to appointments, and special equipment that comes with caring for a child after surgery. They didn’t ask for this fundraiser themselves, but I know how much they love Eisley and how hard they’re working to make sure she gets everything she needs.

If you’re able to help in any way, whether that’s donating, sharing this page, or just keeping them in your thoughts, it would mean so much.

We’ll share updates here as we have them so everyone can follow along and cheer her on through surgery and recovery.

Thank you for taking a minute to read this and for supporting this family.
